Scholarship General Information

The Monterey Bay Spouses’ Club (MBSC) scholarship is awarded annually to the
dependents of active-duty, retired, or deceased military members, and veterans
living in the Monterey County area within the last 5 years who show commitment
to community engagement and academic achievement.
Multiple recipients may be selected for this scholarship and may be awarded up to $1,000.

All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply.


Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicants must be the dependent of an active duty, retired, reservist, national guard, veteran, and/or deceased military personnel from any branch.
  • Pursuing a degree or certification at an accredited U.S. post- secondary institution on either a full-time or a part-time basis
OR
  • Enrolled in a vocational or technical school or certification program from an accredited U.S. Institution.
  • Applicants must have resided in the Monterey County area within the last 5 years.
